RNs and LPNs needed. Experience in pediatrics is helpful but not mandatory. The doctor team is responsible for assessing the overall health of campers and identifying possible complications with participating in a session of camp. Our health screening accounts for: Health history, vital signs, cursory physical exam, current treatments for medications Each member of the medical team contributes to the confidence parents place in our camp and the safety of those who attend camp sessions. Your professionalism and expertise ensure that campers are prepared for camp and that our on-site camp nurse has the information necessary to provide proper care. Doctor assessment can be staffed by a Medical Director and 5 Medical Students or by 4 Medical Doctors, (MD/DO) Questions about certification should be directed to City Union Mission’s Medical Services Administrator.

Will assist campers and families through the registration process, will handle sensitive information, including medical diagnosis, medication and have access to personal information, will not be supervised. Greet families, assist in set up and take down, will always be directly supervised Will have access to camper directly by using their smart phone to take pictures and upload to HUB, will have access to campers personal information. • Supervise support staff. (medical, housekeeping, food service), including daily meeting.

Big Camp Specific

• Communicate with the Farm staff, daily, regarding maintenance needs.
• Facilitate and organize purchases for Big Camp and Tot Lot.

Tot Lot Specific

• Meet daily with the Big Camp Manager regarding maintenance needs and purchasing.
• Assist with the Director's disciplinary responsibilities.

Tell the story of camp. Publish daily reports on the website, including pictures and stories.

Assist the Tot Lot Staff when and where needed. Flexibility is a must.

Work with teacher to help facilitate Chapel times. Musical or computer skills are helpful.

Plan craft projects and work with camp office to obtain materials needed. Oversee and instruct craft assistants as they work with counselors to assist campers in the afternoon. Prepare materials for upcoming crafts.

Work with counselors to assist children in succeeding with pre-planned crafts in the afternoon. Assist the craft director in craft preparation.

Oversee recreational activities such as canoeing, swimming, archery, group games/sports, free play time, trust course, fishing, hiking, camping, etc. Work with counselors to assist campers. Usually assigned to lifeguard one or two hours per day. Lifeguard classes will be offered.

Experience with quantity cooking. Responsible for all meal related details except menu planning and purchasing. This includes food and dining hall preparation and clean-up, as well as tending to dishes.

Assist Nurse with distribution of meds and providing first aid.

Wash soiled linens in the mornings and serve snacks during the afternoon rotation. Have clean towels each day for campers.

Maintain clean “public” areas on the campground. Stock all bathrooms. Works closely with Asst. Janitor.
